Onam Celebrations were conducted on a grand scale on 21st August before the commencement of the Onam holidays. Floral decorations, ‘Athappoo’ was done on a grand scale as a joint effort by all the students of the College to mark the solidarity and oneness of the staff and students of the college, quite symbolic of the days of Mahabali when all people lived in amity and equality. Onam songs and sporting events like tug-of-war were held. The celebrations were rounded off with the traditional ‘onam sadya’.
